Alabama Furniture Market is a work location for our Calera, Montevallo, and Helena High School students. It is a a family-owned and operated business that strives daily to provide a unique shopping experience for its customers. The"open-air market" is comprised of a 35,000 square foot showroom and an equally large on-site warehouse.  Our students worked in the warehouse and helped in staging room displays. The market is so large that the students can have a variety of working experiences in one facility. Thank you, Alabama Furniture Market for hosting our program!

University of Montevallo- Montevallo, AL

MHS students got to experience the lunchtime rush while working at the University of Montevallo's Anna Irvin Dining Hall. They helped set up the many stations, prepared coffee, made pizzas, stocked, and cleaned.

Revolve Restaurant-Birmingham,AL

Revolve Kitchen and Brew is Executive Chef Sean Butler's vision of a community gathering place with great atmosphere and exceptional food. We want to thank him for the wonderful opportunity that he has created for our students!  Our OMHS student comes in and helps prepare the restaurant to open for the hungry lunch crowd.

We want to thank Monty Todd and our newest business- Spoon & Ladle for working with our Helena High School students. The students helped prepare over 500 containers that will go out to surrounding Birmingham, Alabama restaurants and grocery stores such as: iCantina; Beef O’Brady’s; Bob Sykes Barbeque; Piggly Wiggly; Andy’s Farm Market; Murphree’s Market & Garden Center; And Western Supermarket.

We are very excited too see Helena High and Oak Mountain High hold their first YAiT Club meetings at the schools.
