Roots Hair Salon in Old Town Helena provides an excellent Work Instruction site for our Calera High School student. She gets a hands-on opportunity to not only observe the busy day to day operations of a hair salon, but she also assists with various tasks that help all of the stylists.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Skull Girl Soaps! Our Helena High student is packaging Christmas soaps, labeling bags, and tying ribbon to get ready for your holiday shopping.

We want to thank Executive Chef, Sean Butler, for the wonderful hands-on experience that he has created for our Calera High School students at Revolve Kitchen and Brew! They have had the opportunity to work beside professional chefs and managers and be an integral member of the kitchen team. They assisted with prepping the ingredients for the day, creating chocolate bread pudding, and cooking for the lunch crowd.

Uptown Salon is a full-service hair salon located in Old Town Helena. Our Helena High School student had the opportunity to observe stylists and learn about the different aspects of jobs associated with running a salon and small business. This included folding towels and smocks, stocking, and cleaning up work-spaces.
