Our HHS student assisted in the warehouse of Flynn Distributing. Today he assembled brake fluid kits, pulled required parts, assembled kits into bags- sealing, shrink wrapping, and then packaging them to ship. Flynn is a distributor for ACP, Pro and Meguiar's automotive detail products, Wynn's Automotive Maintenance products, the new FDC Nitrogen tire inflation systems and more.

Our HHS student worked at the Pelham warehouse that carries a complete line of car care and maintenance products. 

He learned that Flynn offers internationally known lines of car care and restoration products to the automobile industry.

Pure Bliss Salon Spa-Mt Laurel,AL

Our OMHS student assisted the girls' today at Pure Bliss Salon Spa. She experienced the many day-to-day responsibilities and tasks of running a successful hair salon. Pure Bliss Salon Spa is a full service salon offering hair, nail,and aesthetic services.  Located in the beautiful town of MT Laurel, they are open Tuesday- Saturday at 15 MT Laurel Ave. (205) 538-5972.

R & S Farms- Columbiana, AL

Our Chelsea High student got to experience life on the farm at R & S Farms today as Robert and Sandra Armstrong are preparing for fall markets and sales. After the pumpkins are unloaded, they are washed, and hand waxed. This extra effort from R & S makes their pumpkins really stand out as well as preserve them for months. Who Knew?

Alabama DisAbility Conference- Wynfrey Hotel, Hoover, AL

Our Chelsea, Oak Mountain, and Shelby County High School students got the opportunity over 9/11-9/13 to present School House Granola at the Al. DisAbility Conference. The students learned how to greet the public, communicate information about the product, and participate in marketing and sales.
