These Chelsea High School students worked hard labeling hundreds of soup containers today at Spoon & Ladle. The soups of the day such as Shrimp and Crab Gumbo and Watermelon Tomato Gazpacho will be packaged and sent to area supermarkets and restaurants. |

Engage Alabama Transition App for Youth with Disabilities
Students with disabilities need to have a voice in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) transition planning process for their life after high school. This free app helps students and families have that voice by creating a transition plan that addresses their strengths, preferences, interests and needs. Middle & High SE Summit- Calera High School
It's that time again...back to school for these Shelby County School's middle and high special education teachers and paraeducators.
A SE Summit took place at Calera High School with guest speaker, Dr. Jennifer Chambers, discussing Trauma- Informed Care. Summit participants chose three sessions to attend ranging from Google Read and Write to Taking Care of Yourself.
Thanks to Ms. Mace, Ms. Adams, and Ms. Radice for rocking our Transition Services for Students on the General & Essentials Pathway sessions!
