Blue Rain Car Wash- Hoover,AL
We want to thank Brad Bailey for allowing our Shelby County School's Work Instruction program to partner with Blue Rain Car Wash. At the end of the day, not only do they deliver a car that is cleaner, shinier, and drier than anyone else around, but they do so in manner that is ultimately more “green.”
Washing your car no longer has to be the unpleasant chore you try to put off. Clean, shiny, and dry in 3 minutes! Come see why the Blue Rain Express is the truly the best car wash experience for your money.
Our Oak Mountain High School student started his first day of non-paid work instruction by touring the Blue Rain Car Wash and learning about the operations of this one of a kind car wash.
Blue Rain Express is one of the most technologically advanced car washes in the United States. Every single aspect of this concept, from the kinds of biodegradable chemicals they employ, to their ability to reclaim and recycle the water used, and the dual belted conveyor system, was chosen so that they could create a car wash that is easier for the driver and better for the environment.

Highland Gourmet Scones- Pelham, AL
It's hard to believe the holidays are upon us. Highland Gourmet Scones was bustling today with scones being baked and shipped around the country. One of our Oak Mountain High School students got to try a Cafe Mocha scone for the first time. A wonderful treat after labeling Cherry Amaretto, Hazelnut Chocolate Chip, Lemon Blueberry, Orange Cranberry, and Original Golden Raisin bags.
Our other OMHS student has become a "master" stamper. He has perfected the crest to look like it is part of the bag...something that I can't do after a year! Katy Caldwell, owner, shows the others how to put labels on the gold tins. A mountain of boxes and bags of packing filler await for the shipping of the scones.
