School House Granola- Special Services Center- Pelham,AL

Chelsea High students were in the kitchen this morning making two batches of School House Fruit & Nut Granola. We are looking forward to the upcoming Principals Meeting and Holiday Markets.

Flynn Distributing Co.- Riverchase

Our Helena High student assisted in the warehouse of Flynn Distributing. Today he assembled brake fluid kits then assembled the kits into bags- sealing, shrink wrapping, and then packaging them to ship. Flynn is a distributor for ACP, Pro and Meguiar's automotive detail products, Wynn's Automotive Maintenance products, the new FDC Nitrogen tire inflation systems and more. 

Blue Rain Car Wash-Hoover,AL

We want to thank Brad Bailey for allowing our School-to-Working program to partner with Blue Rain Car Wash.  The sun was out and so were the customers that kept our Chelsea High student busy. He assisted with detailing, washing mats, towels, and property maintenance. At the end of the day, not only does Blue Rain deliver a car that is cleaner, shinier, and drier than anyone else around, but they do so in manner that is ultimately more “green.”

Career Expo- Metro Church Birmingham,AL

Students from Shelby County High School helped prepare for the  upcoming 2019 Career Expo sponsored by the Al. Dept.of Rehab Services and the ARC of Shelby County. Over 10 career areas will be represented including First Responders, Retail, Vet Tech, Healthcare, and Construction.

Highland Gourmet Scones- Pelham, AL

The ladies at Highland Scones are preparing for the upcoming holiday rush. Our Oak Mountain High School student helped with sorting and packaging raisins for the Original Golden Raisin scones. New flavors have been added to the Holiday assortment: Cinnamon Brown Sugar, Pumpkin Spice, and Orange Cranberry.

Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum- Calera, AL

Our students worked at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum preparing for families to take a magical trip to the North Pole.

"Through the dark night, the North Pole Express makes its way by starlight to the top of the world. On the way, you'll listen to a whimsical Christmas story, sing your favorite holiday carols, and watch out the windows for the bright lights of the North Pole to appear."

Our Calera and Vincent High students helped put together the tents at the Musueum and then went through Christmas ornaments for quality control.

Our HHS student assisted with putting together Used Car Service Kits. After they were assembled, he packaged and sealed them in boxes  to be shipped to distributors.

One of the Used Car Service Kits required bagging and shrink wrap to assemble. Flynn Distributing is located in Pelham off of Old Montgomery Highway. They are the #1 distributor for ACP, Pro, Meguiar's automotive detail products, and Wynn's Automotive Maintenance products.
