YAiT Meeting - Hoover, AL

"Find Your Place" at Jefferson State Community College Shelby-Hoover Campus. Students listened to presentations from staff and faculty about the advantages of attending a community college. Jacob Call, recruiter, gave a wonderful overview of Jeff State and what it takes to be admitted. Anne Sherman, Director of  the ADA , informed students on how to access her office that will assist them with accommodations. Leah Collins, Coordinator of Career Programs, talked about the numerous fast track programs available, Chef Joseph Mitchell, Director Culinary and Hospitality told about his wonderful Culinary program, and Allie Templeton, Jeff State Student, told about her experiences on campus as an individual with disAbilities. A wonderful buffet from the Culinary School was provided by the ACDD.*
