We want to thank Fire Chief Smiley, Deputy Chief Youngblood, and all the wonderful first responders at the Vincent Volunteer Fire Station for participating in our Work Instruction Program. They have taken time out of their busy schedules to work with our Vincent High School student that is interested in pursuing a career in the field. He has gotten a first hand view of how the department serves and protects the town of Vincent and surrounding areas. Today, he not only assisted in the daily activities of the station, but he also learned to take vitals and use some of the rescue equipment.
