Students from Shelby County High School helped with the annual October Pumpkin Patch at the
Heart of Dixie Railroad Station. They get experience working with "bosses" and the public at this month long event. In site preparation, students work with their hands by setting up tents, building a burlap and cornstalk maze, and decorate the train cars for the seasonal visitors. Every Thursday in October, our students will supervise and operate various activity stations in the park for the visiting children.
