Christmas time is the busy time at Highland Gourmet Scones. Our Oak Mountain High School student is allowed a first hand view of what it takes to operate a family owned small business. He helped label the small bags that will encase the scones in the holiday tins. Original Golden Raisin, Pumpkin Spice, and Orange Cranberry were the flavor options going out today. |

Highland Gourmet Scones ships hundreds of gold tins across the country during this time of year. Judging by what we experienced today, there will be many happy customers on the receiving end of these delicious treats. |

Our Calera High students and Work Instructor,Carrie Radice, assist in placing labels on hundreds of containers weekly.
Spoon & Ladle has now added pimento cheese and salsa to their menu.
